Nowadays, many Web developers are making their websites presentable and user-friendly and some of it are using multimedia to make their websites looking and feeling alive to the viewers. Multimedia involves text, animation, graphics, sounds, and video which the user are allowed to control for playback(Mastering HTML 4, pg. 430). It could also used through HTML code for the Web pages. Including multimedia on the Web is more effective to make the viewer's intellect develop easier and faster than manual.
For me, multimedia is appropriate to use on websites. I can include also myself as one the viewers that is fun of watching and visiting on the interested websites that contains multimedia.
